In January you the bloggers decided to tell us what your favorite blogs are. You got together and created the Top of Today Blogger’s Choice Awards. After a week of nominations and narrowing down the field to a manageable group of blogs from the 20 blogs with 36 nominations five nominees were put to the vote.
And the winner for the January 2009 Top of Today Blogger’s Choice Awards that you voted for was Health by Dr. Atif Farid.
While this is not a Today.com run event specifically, we are pleased of your interest in other Today.com blogs and will begin a blogroll to honor your monthly choices and will highlight your winners here each month.

It’s January award time! If you are new, Today.com gives out several hundred dollars worth of awards each month to some of our best and up and coming blogs.
The Most Popular Blog for the month of January was again Convention Fans! DreadPirateRose maintained her top position by continuing to grow, largely helped by being featured on Fark.com several times. She also recently gave CoventionFans a mini face lift by taking advantage of the newly released color customization options.
Our Editor’s Choice Award for January goes to Nonfiction Lover. Visit this blog to hear the stories of a part-time librarian mixed with nonfiction book reviews. If you’re like a lot of people you probably think non-fiction books are boring, however, spend a few minutes on Hava’s blog and you might just learn to love them too. Hava also blogged every day in January and spent a lot of time in the forum helping her fellow bloggers.
Both of the above bloggers will receive $250 for their efforts. Stop by and congratulate them!
