October Blog Awards!
FAPIPO blew it out of the water again this month with popularity - no one even came close! This was mostly due to a big spike in traffic for having a post featured on the front page of Digg.com. Being election day in the US it seemed only fitting to give our Editor’s Choice Award to one of our most prolific and outspoken political bloggers. Whether you agree with her political views or not, please give a congrats to Conservation Politics who has been actively blogging with us almost every day since early May.

The Most Popular blog and our Editor’s Choice blog both receive a $250 bonus. However, we also give out 3 awards to bloggers on a performance (PPM) plan. They may not be the most popular, but all three made good progress and worked hard throughout October. Please visit them and offer your congrats!
1st, $150 Bonus: Cliterature - Women, Sexuality, and Books: sometimes controversial but always entertaining this blog quickly went from unknown to one of our top 10.
2nd, $100 Bonus: The Knoxville Local Expert- Our resident Knoxville, Tennessee blogger nearly doubled their traffic this past month. Keep it up!
3rd, $50 Bonus The Argus -Despite experiencing some minor setbacks with Craigslist this trippy blogger keeps on truckin’ and improving their blog and traffic.
A few months ago we announced our blogger referral program where you can earn $5 for every new qualified blogger you refer to us. At the same time we said we would give out a performance bonus to our top 5 referrers of the month if, collectively, 300 new bloggers were referred to us (see VIP FAQ). Well, we are getting closer to that number but aren’t quite there yet. So, in the meantime, we decided to double the earnings of the top 5 referrers in October.
