Today.com New Year’s Changes
We are only a few weeks into the New Year and new changes still abound! To add to the changes outlined in the email sent to bloggers on January 2nd, this week bloggers can see the Amazon Tracking ID field in their account panel. The program is in beta and testing is going on, however you can contact Amazon Associates to sign up for an Amazon affiliate account today.
Look for more revshare opportunities in the near future to add to your Google AdSense and Amazon affiliate earnings.
Check your Google AdSense reports
We want to encourage bloggers to check their Google AdSense accounts to make sure they are getting reports from their Today.com blog. Make sure that your Google AdSense Publisher ID is added with the prefix Pub- immediately followed by the 16-digit code. We are periodically running system checks and an admin checks during blog reviews to ensure ads are showing for your account. We will notify you by email if we see no ads or if Google publishes ads in a non-standard format, usually an indicator that a code may be input wrong.
More changes to come…
Today.com will continue to make changes in the coming months to its blogging program. You can already see the helpful SEO tips and blogging resource recommendations that the programmers have added to your WordPress post editor area.
Bloggers who have asked for more help in the past will be happy to know that now they can receive personalized help from a Today.com editor. Notes can be posted in the same location as their VIP stats are found, with recommendations on writing blog posts that reach relevant traffic.
Status of the Today.com Forum
As our programmers and admins focus on changes to WordPress and the revshare account and statistical interface the changes to the forum have been moved back. As the forum had little activity and all support issues are handled at support@today.com it will remain closed until more time can be focused on it. At this time visitors will be redirected to Blog Today for updates. There is still a Blog Today feed in your blog control panel to alert you to updates as well.
Need support?
Please remember if support is needed, email us at support@today.com. Emails are responded to within 24 hours during the week, or longer on the weekends and US holidays. If you think we have not received an email sent to us, you can also send us a direct message to our Twitter account. Remember to check your spam folder for replies as sometimes our emails go to spam or may be blocked by email providers.
Don’t forget that the Today.com Wiki is a great source of information for all bloggers on our revshare and affiliate programs, and on SEO tips and tools. It is being updated consistently as we make changes.
Thank you!
We thank all our bloggers for their patience as changes are made to the site in the coming days and months. Please email us at support@today.com if you notice any problems or if you did not receive your email on January 2nd.
