Both of the above Today.com bloggers will receive $250 for their efforts. Stop by and congratulate them!

In addition to Today.com’s Most Popular Blog and Editor’s Choice Awards, we are pleased to give out two $50 awards for special recognition.

OldManBlurtsOutThe first goes to Old Man Blurts Out. A fairly new and well put together health and fitness site with a great diversity of topics and a personable voice from a man sharing his struggles and successes with weight loss. He got the attention of this editor when he posted the answer to the ever burning question: Is there a healthy fried clam recipe? Then I couldn’t leave his site!

Sustainable PrintingThe second is for Sustainable Printing, a site being recognized in its industry as a go to source. European Digital Media Management (a Hungarian organization) is running a program this year on print media. One of the topics covered is Publishing in the Future, on which participants in the course will write what they think the publishing/print industry will be in 10 or 20 years. They’ve listed Sustainable Printing on their instruction sheet as a resource for the assignment along with three other websites. Way to go mkissing!

In addition to Today.com’s Most Popular Blog and Editor’s Choice Awards, we are pleased to give out two $25 awards for creative entries in regards to a random topic. Random topic was beer at the White House. The two recipients are users Rabbi Jaffe and Scotty Starnes.

Rabbi JaffeRabbi Jaffe’s post, A Beer in the White House, offers topics up to the general media who discuss nothing of real importance, so why not discuss beer at the White House in greater detail.

Scotty StarnesScotty Starnes’ post, A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words shows the Today.com blogger is a grade above the general media and makes a connection between beer at the White House and healthcare.

We thank both authors for their creative contributions to one of the most talked about topics this summer…no, not the MLB All Star Game, just beer at the White House.
